Ricardo Alvarez-Diaz is the founder and managing partner of Alvarez-Diaz+Group, PSC (ADG), a consulting and design firm with offices in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He is responsible for the general and financial management of the firm, its business development, and the coordination for project execution.
He received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana, and began his career working for the firm of Robert A.M. Stern in New York City
Alvarez-Diaz has served on several guest design Juries at the University of Notre Dame and the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico. He has lectured both in the United States and Puerto Rico on contemporary topics in business and architecture. Mr. Alvarez-Diaz is the author of several published articles and was also section editor for the Institute of Classical Architecture’s annual magazine The Classicist.
He co-leads a foundation that established a yearly undergraduate student award for outstanding leadership at the University of Notre Dame’s School of Architecture in Indiana.
